Shelia Robinson has a varied background in higher education including experience in admissions, enrollment management and student affairs. She has worked as an international specialist, processing visas for international faculty and students and their accompanied family members seeking employment in the United States. Her passion is helping students achieve educational goals and she has devoted a significant part of her professional career over the past 15 years to admissions, enrollment management, student recruitment and advising. Her work in higher education includes community college, university and professional program experience at Texas A&M University and Prairie View A&M University. She is committed to the success of students by providing resources to address every student’s needs and interests to help them stay connected in school and achieve their educational and career goals.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in education and master’s in organizational management from Wayland Baptist University, Deborah Zacher started her career at the Plainview Herald as the special projects writer. During her time at the daily newspaper, she served as a writer, editor, photographer and organized several special projects. After three years, she left her newspaper career for a job in higher education. While serving as the admissions office manager for her alma mater, she discovered her passion for advising students and helping them achieve their dream of a college education. Prior to arriving at the Rangel College of Pharmacy, she was a graduate school coordinator in the College of Graduate Studies at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
