Debra Wood is dedicated to the success of the Rangel College of Pharmacy and she comes to work every day determined to make a difference and to have fun doing it. Wood has worked in the Bryan-College Station area as a community pharmacist for over 35 years, including the past 10 years as Chief Pharmacist at Texas A&M Beutel Health Center. Wood was also an independent pharmacy store owner, Hospice Brazos Valley pharmacist consultant and PIC at Eckerd’s Pharmacy (now known as CVS). In addition to her dedication to Texas A&M University students, Wood’s scientific pursuits include an interest in palliative care; alcoholism and drug addiction; climate change and ecology. She enjoys reading, being outside, and surprisingly, Texas Hold ‘Em. Wood has a Texas A&M University degree in psychology (2001) and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas College of Pharmacy in 1977.

Steven Deanda joined the OEE staff after his tenure as a student worker and graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2013. He assists OEE with the experiential programs; including communicating to students, sites and preceptors of rotation assignments. He assists in operating and maintaining the experiential education database, E*Value.
