Erin joined the Office of Experiential Education on Sept. 23, 2013. Kells was a program manager in the Office of Experiential Education at the University of New Mexico, College of Pharmacy. While in that position, she assisted with the management and oversight of daily operations of their Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) program, the nontraditional Pharm.D. program, and the management and oversight of the APPE program. She received her bachelor’s in Spanish from Colorado State University, and her masters in bicultural-bilingual studies from University of Texas at San Antonio. She grew up in Aurora, Colo., and lived in San Antonio, for five years and Albuquerque, N.M., for the past seven years.

Debra Wood is dedicated to the success of the Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy and she comes to work every day determined to make a difference and to have fun doing it. Ms. Wood has worked in the Bryan-College Station area as a community pharmacist for over 35 years, including the past ten years as Chief Pharmacist at Texas A&M Beutel Health Center. Ms. Wood was also an independent pharmacy store owner, Hospice Brazos Valley pharmacist consultant and PIC at Eckerd’s Pharmacy (now known as CVS). In addition to her dedication to Texas A&M University students, Ms. Wood’s scientific pursuits include an interest in Palliative Care; Alcoholism and Drug Addiction; climate change and ecology. She enjoys reading, being outside, and surprisingly, Texas Hold ‘Em. Ms. Wood has a Texas A&M University degree in Psychology (2001) and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas College of Pharmacy in 1977.

Carolyn joined OEE more than four years ago. She is responsible for providing academic and general administrative support. She handles travel arrangements, scheduling and making appointments for OEE. Additionally, she assists students with site requirements and missing documentation. Carolyn worked for Texas A&M University-Kingsville for 14 years.

Steven joined the OEE staff after his tenure as a student worker and Texas A&M University-Kingsville graduate in 2013. He assists OEE with the experiential programs; including communicating to students, sites and preceptors of rotation assignments. He assists in operating and maintaining the experiential education database, E*Value.
