Pharmacy Practice Faculty, General Medicine/Family Medicine

Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12-month clinical faculty position (non-tenure track or tenure track) at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in general medicine/family medicine with a strong commitment to an academic career emphasizing innovative educational, clinical service and scholarly activities.

The clinical practice site is located at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clinical practice/teaching site; clinical practice; precepting advanced pharmacy practice experiences; and teaching in the pharmacotherapy sequence and pharmaceutical care sequence.

The successful candidate must be eligible for Texas Pharmacist Licensure, have a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited pharmacy program in the U.S., with residency training or with extensive clinical experience.  Faculty rank and salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.  Tenure-track applicants should have successful research experience and must demonstrate potential for scholarly productivity.  Faculty rank and salary are negotiable and commensurate with experience.  The position is available immediately.
