Postdoctoral Research Associates

Two postdoctoral positions are open in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, Kingsville, Texas. One of the funded projects is focused on designing topical ophthalmic formulations and their evaluation using standard quality control tests and in vitro in vivo correlation (IVIVC) methods. The other funded project is aimed at developing protein nanoparticles for transdermal /nasal drug and vaccine delivery.

Our research group has been working on a variety of nanoparticles for drug, gene and vaccine delivery. Applicants should possess a PhD in the area of drug delivery with sufficient expertise in drug delivery, pharmacokinetics and nanotechnology. Experience in instrumental techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, dissolution testing of formulations, simulation models of drug absorption, molecular biology techniques, experience in using animal models will be preferred. Selected candidate should be able to involve in team work and perform the research work in compliance with Texas A&M University System guidelines.
