Education Program Assistant, Bryan/College Station campus

The Education Program Assistant will coordinate student services for pharmacy students on the Bryan-College Station campus and provide administrative support for the Offices of Experiential Education and Student Affairs. Responsibilities related to student affairs include: academic advising for future and current pharmacy students; assisting with data entry into Student Information System; planning and implementing routine program logistics and maintaining activities to ensure quality of programs; compiling information and preparing reports and program documentation; coordinating student services with two campuses; counseling pharmacy students to enhance their academic success; providing support for student organizations and tracking student organization sponsored events; and coordinating communication and information-sharing. Responsibilities related to experiential education include general operations support at different levels to establish and maintain efficient program processes and operations. The individual in this position will interact with prospective students, current students, preceptors, faculty and staff; student services, and the experiential education program.

Interested individuals with an associate’s degree and at least three years of broad experience in an area related to student affairs or experiential education are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), student information systems, and account management programs (e.g., FAMIS) is required, as are excellent oral and written communication skills. Salaries are competitive and commensurate with the successful candidate’s educational qualifications, experience, and competencies. The individual in this position will work collaboratively with the Offices of Experiential Education and Student Affairs on both campuses, and reports to the senior campus administrator on the Bryan-College Station campus.
