Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor

The Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12-month clinical faculty position (non-tenure track or tenure track) at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor level in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in ambulatory care with a strong commitment to an academic career emphasizing innovative educational, clinical service and scholarly activities.

The ambulatory care position is located at a family medicine clinical practice setting in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clinical practice/teaching site; clinical practice; precepting advanced pharmacy practice experiences; teaching in the pharmacotherapy sequence and pharmaceutical care sequence; facilitating rounds and recitation, committee service, student applicant interviews, student advising, and engaging in scholarly activities.

The successful candidate must be eligible for Texas Pharmacist Licensure, have a PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy program in the United States, with residency training or with extensive clinical experience. A minimum PGY-2 residency is preferred or equivalent clinical experience. Faculty rank and salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Faculty rank and salary are negotiable and commensurate with experience. The position is available immediately.
