Please contact the email address of each of the programs you are interested in applying for to schedule an interview. In addition, companies will begin accepting application materials starting November 15, 2013. As graduation fast approaches you will find yourself carefully evaluating career and professional development options. We would like to share some information about our post-graduate biopharmaceutical industry fellowships open to new graduates.

The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS University) Post-PharmD Biopharmaceutical Industry Fellowships provide experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and academia. Fellows are immersed in corporate and academic cultures providing a wide exposure to careers in the biopharmaceutical industry. Fellows are appointed as adjunct assistant professors of pharmacy practice and will have opportunities to teach, develop, and coordinate classes at MCPHS University. Fellows participate in regular seminars at MCPHS University, precept students on advanced clinical rotations and may have the opportunity to publish at least once per fellowship year. BiogenBiogen Idec, Inc., in collaboration with the MCPHS University offers unique two year fellowship programs to promote the role of the Doctor of Pharmacy within the biopharmaceutical industry. The fellow will gain extensive experience through various practical activities in both industrial and academic settings, which will enhance the potential for accelerated career development. The three fellowships available include: Regulatory Affairs/Safety and Benefit-Risk Management, Regulatory Advertising, Labeling and Promotion, and Global Medical Affairs. Through these programs, the fellow will gain in-depth experience in these core areas and develop the skills necessary to work on multidisciplinary teams. GenzymeGenzyme, a Sanofi Company, and Sanofi Oncology are proud to offer two year post-PharmD industry fellowships based in Cambridge, MA and Northborough, MA that provide hands-on experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and academia. Established in 2003, the program currently offers fellowship opportunities in Clinical Research/Investigational Products, Global Pharmacovigilance and Epidemiology, Medical Affairs (Rare Diseases), Medical Affairs (Sanofi Oncology), and Regulatory Affairs. NovartisMCPHS University & Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) Fellowship is a two year post-PharmD fellowship program designed to provide highly-motivated candidates the unique opportunity to gain practical experience in early clinical drug development at NIBR. The fellowship also presents the opportunity to increase academic skills in collaboration with MCPHS University. Collectively, the fellowship is designed to provide a comprehensive, high-quality postdoctoral experience. PfizerPfizer Worldwide Research and Development in conjunction with MCPHS University, offers a two year post-PharmD fellowship designed to provide insight into the supply of clinical trial materials throughout all phases of a drug development program. Qualified candidates will participate in training and provide support to the Global Clinical Supply organization while maintaining academic responsibilities during this two year appointment. Fellows will earn the experience necessary to begin a successful career in the biopharmaceutical industry.
