Pharmacists Mutual Community Pharmacy Scholarship

General Information

This scholarship is available to all pharmacy students enrolled at the Rangel College of Pharmacy.

 

Number of Awards and Award Amount

Up to twenty scholarships nationwide will be awarded. Each recipient will receive $2,500.

 

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

  • Be a P3 or a P4 in the 2019-2020 academic year and plan to practice in:
    • Independent or small chain community pharmacy,
    • Underserved geographic or cultural community, preferably in an independent or small chain community pharmacy.

 

Submission Requirements

  1. College transcript.
  2. Letter of recommendation from a faculty member or advisor,
  3. An essay describing their interest in practicing in an independent or small chain community setting, or in an underserved community. Their essay should describe steps they have taken to prepare themselves for their chosen practice setting.
  4. Complete the scholarship application and submit the required documents via www.phmic.com/scholarship/.

 

Applications will be accepted from October 1, 2018 to December 1, 2018.
