Howdy! Welcome to the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy communications area.
We work diligently to meet the needs of the Rangel College of Pharmacy students, faculty, staff, former students and friends.
The Rangel College of Pharmacy has many methods to inform constituents.
Recruitment materials are updated every two years. In addition, new students, faculty and staff are offered a copy to inform them of the history of the college, admissions process, interview, student life, student organizations, the region, academics and important contacts.
The Rotation publishes each semester out of the office of experiential education. It is a newsletter dedicated to communicating and informing the college’s preceptors about continuing education programs, training, Drug Information Center and student activities. The Rotation is about preceptors, so the team requests input from them.
The Prescription is a quarterly newsletter for the Rangel College of Pharmacy family, supporters, preceptors, staff, faculty, alumni and students. It includes features on the intended audience, alumni updates, students in action, recent hires, faculty and staff highlights.
The Texas Pharmacy Congress Report is printed quarterly for the Texas Pharmacy Congress (TPC) meeting. The report is offered at the quarterly TPC meeting. It includes information on grants, scholarships, accomplishments, special activities, presentations made, publications, student and/or student organization achievements and information on new staff and faculty. The purpose of the TPC meeting is to facilitate discussion on professional, technological, legislative, and regulatory issues through exchange of views, interpretation, and analysis of matters of common interest to Texas pharmacists, Texas pharmacy organizations, and the constituencies they serve.
Each meeting held by staff, faculty and students is distributed among members and is made open to anyone who requests it.
The State of the College is intended for the public. The dean addresses the past year concerning the college community, highlights and advances, initiatives and updates and future.
The Annual Report is intended for the public and the Rangel College of Pharmacy stakeholders, family, supporters, preceptors, staff, faculty, alumni and students. It encompasses the previous year accomplishments, financials, ratios, information on grants, scholarships, accomplishments, special activities, presentations made, publications, student and/or student organization achievements and information on new staff and faculty.
