- Complete the PharmCAS and Supplemental Application by the December 3 deadline
- Complete all Academic Prerequisites
- Earn a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA on all coursework pursued
- Submit official transcripts from each college/university attended directly to PharmCAS
- Earn a minimum 40% Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT) score

PCAT Scores
PCAT scores must be submitted directly from the Pearson Testing Center to PharmCAS (Code #104). PCAT scores more than three years old will not be considered for admission. An alternate PCAT date (e.g., administered in late-October or early-November) must be submitted to PharmCAS by the December 3 deadline; otherwise, it is not accepted. A January PCAT is not considered since it is taken after the December 3 application deadline. PCAT subset scores are reviewed and are important; but despite the number of times the test is taken only the highest composite score earned is considered in the College’s admission process.
Pre-requisites
All prerequisites must be satisfactorily completed prior to entering the Pharmacy Program. Prerequisites may be taken at a 4-year and/or 2-year accredited college/university. Applicants who have earned coursework five or more calendar years prior to applying to the College of Pharmacy, but who have not earned a bachelor’s degree, must retake the prerequisites to be considered for admission.
To determine if you have completed or if you are in the process of completing the College’s admission prerequisites based on core curriculum or bachelor’s degree completion, visit the Course Equivalencies page. If your institution is not listed, visit http://www.tccns.org/ and compare your coursework to courses offered at Texas A&M University.
