If you are considering the Pharm.D., the Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and was the first established professional school located south of San Antonio. The college is also ranked No. 48 among the best schools of pharmacy, according to U.S. News & World Report. Future students have the option to study in Kingsville, Texas, 40 miles from the beaches of Corpus Christi, or College Station, home of Texas A&M University and SEC football.

So why should you choose our college? The college's unique program allows professional student pharmacists to begin Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences – supervised rotations in community pharmacy practice – in the second year of study. Additionally, the college has an 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio, giving students an opportunity to personally interact with faculty.  Lastly, the college has ten student organizations and research opportunities for interested students.

Some traditional and nontraditional instruction methods are implemented within this program including:

  • Video Conferencing
  • Team Teaching
  • Traditional, Live Lectures
  • Simulation Center Activities
  • Clinical Rotations
