I am delighted to share with you that our College has received acclaim for its state-of-the-art curriculum, innovative admissions process, impressive preceptor network, and a comprehensive assessment program that is geared towards programmatic excellence. In addition to establishing a superior professional pharmacy program, our faculty members are also actively conducting cutting-edge research and have been awarded $2.6 million in extramural grants. All in all, we were commended for “phenomenal growth in record time” by the accrediting body during a site visit in 2009. And, that same body, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), granted the continuation of the Candidate Accreditation Status to the College’s Doctor of Pharmacy Program at its Board of Directors meeting in Chicago in 2009.

As the fourth cohort becomes acclimated to a professional program and the inaugural cohort prepares for graduation, we are excited about our future, our opportunities for even greater achievements, and our enormous potential.
